Voting Is Vital: Hello, my name is Javonnie. Welcome to my Voting Is Vital blog site. I am taking this class as a mandatory prerequisite. To be honest there is still so much that I don't understand about our government. The last time I took government was my senior year of high school. I do remember enjoying the fact that my high school let us register to vote, and took all registered seniors to go vote. That instilled in me the importance of voting; thus is why I named my blog Voting Is Vital. I have liberal point a views, and would say Bernie Sanders is someone I would consider a political influence. I strongly believe in equality for all races, gender, and sexual orientation. I strongly believe in making it a welcoming nation for immigrants. I was not surprised when I was labeled a Solid Liberal after taking the Political Ideology quiz, which I found to be very fun to take. I keep my TV on MSNBC constantly so I am knowledgeable on current events. I passed the current events quiz with ease. The civics quiz was challenging for me, and so that’s what I hope to learn more about in this class.
